Homeowner, Dog Escape Mobile Home Fire In Moon Lake

A homeowner and his dog safely escaped a mobile home that caught fire when rounds of ammunition discharged.

NEW PORT RICHEY, FL -- A homeowner and his dog safely escaped a mobile home that caught fire when rounds of ammunition discharged.

Pasco County Fire Rescue was called to a mobile home fire in the 13100 Block of Ocasta Avenue in Moon Lake Thursday afternoon, Oct. 18.

Upon arrival, firefighters found the mobile home completely ablaze as the homeowner and his dog looked on.

There were no injuries but the fire is under investigation.
