The companies secured the partnerships through the Hartford InsurTech Hub accelerator program operated by London-based Startupbootcamp, which hosted its first Demo Day Wednesday at the Bushnell Theatre.

The program serves grow businesses it works with while also benefiting area insurance companies that can employ the startups' technology.
Among 10 startups featured at the event, five notched demo agreements with Hartford health insurer Aetna, Travelers Cos. Inc., The Hartford, Crawford & Company, USAA and White Mountains. Meanwhile, several committed to relocating to Hartford.
