UPDATE: SILVER ALERT canceled as Clarkdale man has been found

TUCSON, AZ (Tucson News Now) - The Arizona Department of Public Safety has canceled the Silver Alert for a Clarkdale man who left his home for a trip to Luke Air Force Base, but never made it there.

78-year-old Wesley Douglass was found in Blythe, CA by California Highway Patrol on Thursday, July 12.

According to DPS he left for Luke AFB from his home in Clarkdale on Wednesday, July 11, and was expected home at 2 p.m. The base had no record of him arriving.
