The trend of movie tickets being sold in the 'black' online through social networking sites like Facebook or classified portals like Quikr has come to light ahead of the release of Mahesh Babu-starrer 'Aagadu' on Friday.

The trend of movie tickets being sold in the 'black' online through social networking sites like Facebook or classified portals like Quikr has come to light ahead of the release of Mahesh Babu-starrer 'Aagadu' on Friday.
One of the ads posted on Quikr at 8.45 pm on Thursday read "If anyone needs aagadu tickets for benefit show at Viswanatha theatre in Kukatpally contact 96404082**." When TOI called, the ticket-seller said Rs 70 balcony ticket was available for Rs 300.
"You have to come and collect the tickets from me at Kukatpally," the seller said adding that he has four tickets.
Another post on Quikr read "Aagadu ticket on Saturday morning show at Pratap cinema hall in Langar Houz for Rs 200 any one call me at 97019324**." The actual price of the ticket is Rs 70. One Abhishek post on Facebook asks anyone who is interested in purchasing Inox tickets for Rs 500 each.
Aagadu' movie directed by ` Sreenu Vaitla which has Mahesh Babu and Tamanna as lead characters is getting released in scores of theatres. Multiplexes like IMax and GVK Inox are screening over 15 shows on the first day, but online bookings clearly indicated by Thursday afternoon that all shows were housefull.
Another ad read - "4 tickets for Aagadu Saturday morning show at GVK one banjara Hills.Call me at: 81430444**. When you call, don't forget to mention that you found this ad on Quikr."
"We are keeping a watch on online black ticketing practice and the offenders will be booked," Task Force DCP B Limba Reddy said.
