Robert Redford to narrate wife’s benefit show in New York

Robert Redford will appear on the New York stage to narrate a production created by his artist wife Sibylle.
The Way of the Rain – Voices of Hope will benefit the Natural Resources Defense Council and Sibylle’s Way of the Rain environmental arts nonprofit. The production will be introduced by former U.S. Vice President Al Gore when it hits the stage at Carnegie Hall on 1 December (17).
“The story line tells – through film and music – the evolution of everything,” Sibylle tells the New York Post’s Page Six. “What’s being added is spoken word.”
“I really describes to the audience what it’s all about… This is the only planet we’ve got,” her actor husband adds.
The show has previously been staged in Utah, New Mexico, Miami, and Abu Dhabi.
