Eddie Murphy welcomes his 10th child, a baby boy Max, with fiancee Paige Butcher

Eddie Murphy has gone to the Max as a father for the 10th time.

"The Nutty Professor" star, 57, and his fiancee, Paige Butcher, 39, welcomed a boy named Max Charles Murphy, on Friday, Nov. 30, according to a statement from Murphy's publicist, Arnold Robinson. 

The baby weighed 6 lbs., 11 oz. and was 19 inches at birth. 

Max's middle name is a tribute to Murphy's older brother and fellow comedian Charlie Murphy, who died of leukemia last year.

"Both mother and son are doing well," the statement said.

Murphy and the Australian model Butcher began dating in 2012. Max is their second child. Their daughter, Izzy Oona Murphy, turned 2 in May.  

Murphy's oldest child, Eric, is 29.
