WATAUGA COUNTY, N.C. — A North Carolina man is accused of sex crimes involving a 3-year-old child.
WSOC-TV reported that Timothy Blake Hampton, 25, of Zionville, has been charged with one count of first-degree attempted sex offense and one count of indecent liberties with a child.
The Watauga County Sheriff’s Office said it received a report on June 14 and authorities and agencies began investigating. Specific details on the allegations were not provided.
Authorities said the suspect was placed in jail under a $350,000 bond and his next court date is Sept. 24.
