Ben Harper will play his first global performance with his reformed band The Innocent Criminals at Bluesfest 2015.
Ben Harper & The Innocent Criminals broke up 7 years ago. The last Ben Harper & The Innocent Criminals album was ‘Lifeline’ in 2007.
Bluesfest have announced that the Ben Harper & The Innocent Criminals gig will be exclusive to Bluesfest. The statement from Bluesfest reads, “It is going to be the bands ONLY performance in Australia with NO other shows to be added. It’s exclusive as can be and Bluesfest is truly honoured to welcome back BEN HARPER & THE INNOCENT CRIMINALS after their 7 year break!”
Also added to Bluesfest 2015 Paolo Nutini, David Gray, Counting Crows, Gary Clark Jr, Angelique Kidjo, Jimmy Cliff, Mavis Staples, Ben Howard, Dispatch, Ruthie Foster, Sheppard, Playing For Change, The Beat and Keziah Jones.
Bluesfest is on over the Easter long weekend 2015 in Byron Bay, New South Wales.
