JR Smith Wrote A Kid's Book, Doing Signing In Woodmere

The Cleveland Cavaliers shooting guard, and his brother, wrote "HoopSmiths" and are appearing at Barnes & Nobles event this month.

WOODMERE, OH — JR Smith may be well known for the 2016 Cleveland Cavaliers championship he helped secure — and subsequently going shirtless at the wild celebration parade — but he's also a caring father and the co-author of a children's book.

"HoopSmiths" was written by JR and his brother Chris Smith. The story was inspired by the siblings' real life experiences, and teaches kids how to work together as teammates, on and off a basketball court.

To promote the book, both Smith brothers will be appearing at the Barnes & Nobles in Woodmere. The duo will take part in an author's signing and discussion at 1 p.m. on November 25, the Sunday after Thanksgiving.
