Four lakes area marksmen will compete in the Minnesota State High School League's Clay Target State Tournament Friday, June 22, at Minneapolis Gun Club in Prior Lake.
The four include Chris Hahn, Wadena-Deer Creek; Dominick Carlson and Hunter Seefeldt, Verndale; and Jack Benson of Staples Motley.
Admission and parking are free to the MSHSL's final state tournament of the 2017-18 school year.

There are 115 individual participants and 40 teams
Top Gun All-State Team:
At the conclusion of the tournament, eight participants will be selected to the Mills Fleet Farm Top Gun All-State Team.
History:
In 2012, the MSHSL became the first high school activities association in the nation to provide support and recognition for clay target. The first tournament was conducted in 2014. Four years later, more than 12,000 participants representing 349 high school teams will participate. They are coached and supported by more than 4,000 volunteers.
