ALASKA STATE TROOPERS
November 1 at 4:32 p.m., AST and the Rescue Coordination Center responded near mile 78 of the Parks Highway for an aircraft collision near the Susitna River. 50-year-old Shon Parker was taken to the hospital and treated for injuries after extraction. Parker was the only occupant of the plane.
November 1 at 5:00 p.m., 25-year-old Angel Abarca of Wasilla was contacted by the Criminal Suppression Unit at a residence in Wasilla. Abarca was arrested for warrants on the O/C of MICS 2 and MIWS 2 and taken into custody without bail.
November 2 at 12:17 p.m., AST arrested 20-year-old Kendel Beasley near Aeronautical Avenue on an outstanding $100 warrant for FTA on the O/C of of Theft 4. Beasley was taken to MSPT.
November 3 at 1:07 a.m., AST attempted to stop a silver SUV near the Parks Highway and Sylvan Road that failed to yield. The driver, 40-year-old Kealoha Torres of Wasilla left the roadway and was arrested for Failure to stop at the Direction of a Peace Officer and taken to MSPT without bail.
November 3 at 4:39 a.m., AST pursued a vehicle at a high rate of speed that failed to yield near Hawk Lane and Kenlar Road in Houston. 28-year-old Phillip Robert Jr. of Wasilla was boxed in near mile 49 of the Parks Highway and arrested for Felony Failure to Stop at Direction of a Peace Officer, MIW 4 and 5, and DUI. Robert Jr. was in possession of a pistol and taken to MSPT.
November 3, Glennallen AST arrested 39-year-old Joshua Boone outside a residence in Chitina for three active arrest warrants on the O/C of Assault 3 and 4 (DV), Failure to comply with Alcohol Screening ASAP 2 and a second Failure to Comply with ASAP on the O/C of DUI from the Valdez Police Department. Boone was taken to the Glennallen trooper post and held pending arraignment, and alcohol was not a factor in this case.
November 4 at 2:06 p.m., AST stopped a 14-year-old female in a red 2004 Ford Van for speeding near mile 67 of the Parks Highway. The driver had no license, was under the influence of drugs, and had two active arrest warrants. Of the three other juvenile occupants in the vehicle, one also had an arrest warrant. The vehicle was impounded, the two juveniles with warrants were taken into custody and the other two were released to their parents. All of the vehicle’s occupants were from Anchorage.
November 4 at 8:15 p.m., AST arrested 56-year-old Laurie Hubbard of Wasilla for DUI. AST responded to a vehicle off the roadway near East Fairview Loop and Togiak Drive and contacted Hubbard in a 2011 GMC pickup. Hubbard was taken to MSPT.
November 4 at 12:45 p.m., Soldotna Public Safety Dispatched alerted Troopers, US Forest Service and Girdwood EMS of a single vehicle collision near milepost 69 of the Seward Highway in Turnagain Pass. The driver, 56-year-old David Hudson of Palmer was traveling south in his 1997 Ford F-150 when he lost control due to icy conditions, crossed the northbound lane of traffic and went into the northbound ditch. Hudson and the passenger declined medical attention and alcohol and drugs were not believed to be a factor.
November 5 at 12:05 a.m., AST arrested 21-year-old Kaylee Demientieff of Wasilla for Assault 4 (DV) on Museum Drive in Wasilla. Demientieff was taken to MSPT without bail.
November 5 at 12:09 a.m., AST arrested 31-year-old Chaz Izatt of Chugiak, with assistance from PPD. Izatt assaulted a household member and caused an estimated $700 in damage to a residence on East Justin Road in Palmer, and was arrested for Assault 4 (DV) and Criminal Mischief 4th and taken to MSPT without bail.
November 5, AST arrested 36-year-old Krysta Alford of Wasilla at a residence off Wasilla Fishhook Road for Assault 4 (DV). Alford was taken to MSPT without incident and without bail.
November 6 at 5:33 a.m., AST arrested 50-year-old Woodrow Malewotkuk of Anchorage was arrested following a welfare check near Knik-Goose Bay Road and Caryshea Street in Wasilla. Malewotkuk was wanted for a probation violation and taken to MSPT without bail.
November 6 at 5:41 p.m., AST arrested 39-year-old Laura Stagner of Wasilla for DUI near Bettina Way in Wasilla. Stagner had driven her vehicle to the location while intoxicated and was charged with her second DUI in two days. Stagner was taken to MSPT on $500 bail for the DUI and $250 bail for VCOR from her previous DUI.
November 6 at 4:00 a.m., AST arrested 18-year-old Andrea Cullington of Wasilla at a business on Palmdale Drive in Palmer. Troopers responded to a disturbance at a business and found Cullington, who had an active arrest warrant for $5,000 FTA. Cullington was taken to MSPT.
ALASKA WILDLIFE TROOPERS
October 25, AWT from Palmer issued a $310 optional appearance citation in Palmer Court for negligently feeding game to 61-year-old Gary Pempek of Palmer for placing mineral blocks on his property to attract moose.
PALMER POLICE DEPARTMENT
October 31, PPD arrested 20-year-old Cameron McCarthy of Palmer on a warrant for VCOR on the O/C of Escape and Assault. McCarthy was taken to MSPT.
October 31, PPD arrested 47-year-old Stuart Sanders of Anchorage on a $250 warrant for Failure to Comply with Community Work Service on the O/C of DWLR. Sanders was taken to MSPT.
October 31, PPD arrested 31-year-old Wendy Ogden of Palmer on a $500 warrant for DWLR. Ogden was taken to MSPT.
November 3, PPD arrested 23-year-old Taylor Lekity of Anchorage on nearly $300 in warrants for FTA at a PTC on two O/C’s of Concealment of Merchandise. Lekity was taken to MSPT.
November 3, PPD arrested 25-year-old Michael Rennie of Anchorage on $1,154.92 in warrants for FTA at a PTC on the O/C’s of Robbery 2, Assault 4, Theft 4, Concealment of Merchandise, and Removal of Merchandise. Rennie was taken to MSPT.
November 3, PPD arrested 36-year-old Jason Foster for Assault 4. Foster was taken to MSPT without bail.
November 4, PPD issued a citation to 29-year-old Kayuqtuq Oomittuk of Palmer for Indecent Exposure. Oomittuk was arrested on charges of MICS 2 and taken to MSPT without bail.
November 4, PPD arrested 52-year-old Thomas Burton of Palmer for Failure to Stop at the Direction of a Peace Officer and DUI - alcohol. Burton was taken to MSPT on $1,000 bail.
November 4, PPD arrested 30-year-old Amber Robinson of Palmer on a $2,500 warrant for FTA at a PTC on the O/C’s of Criminal Mischief and Theft 2 and 4. Robinson was taken to MSPT.
WASILLA POLICE DEPARTMENT
October 26 at 9:18 a.m., WPD received a report of gunshots fired near West Nelson Avenue and residents discovered a bullet hole in the wall of their child’s bedroom. The case remains under investigation and no one was injured.
October 26 at 2:47 p.m., WPD received a report that a 7-foot ice cream cone had been stolen from Little Millers on Lucille Street.
October 26 at 9:21 p.m., WPD arrested Justin Pflugh at the Bingo hall on East Old Matanuska Road for an outstanding felony warrant. Pflugh was additionally charged with MICS.
October 27 at 4:45 a.m., WPD arrested Aniel Ramos for DUI near McDonald’s and took him to MSPT.
October 27 at 9:30 p.m., WPD responded to a report of shoplifting at Fred Meyer. Joel Kenworthy was contacted while WPD was in the area and arrested for an outstanding warrant. Kenworthy was also charged with MICS 2.
October 30 at 3:25 p.m., WPD sent a suspicious package found at Wasilla City Hall to the state crime lab for testing.
October 31 at 1:59 a.m., WPD received a report that Dylan Pollard and Montana Groat, and two minors entered a residence on West Holiday Drive unannounced, assaulted a female, stole a gaming console and fled the scene.
October 31 at 8:45 a.m., WPD received a report of a counterfeit $100 bill passed in the drive-thru window at McDonald’s.
November 1 at 3:14 a.m., WPD arrested Richard Rollins and Ricky Robinson at the Mug-Shot Saloon after refusing to leave. Both were charged with Criminal Trespassing 2 and taken to MSPT.
November 1 at 12:11 p.m., WPD received a report of a stolen vehicle with the complainant still inside the vehicle. Officers stopped the vehicle within minutes of the initial report at the intersection of the Parks Highway and Main Street. The victim was found unharmed and Jamie Hale was arrested for Vehicle Theft 1, and Theft 1 and taken to MSPT.
