AceShowbiz - Steven Seagal is launching a sports promotion company in Russia to produce a live mixed martial arts show.
The Under Siege actor will serve as the president of Zhara Fight, responsible for promoting live MMA events all over the world, according to The Hollywood Reporter. The first event will take place on Wednesday, May 30, at Moscow's Vegas City Hall.
"We want to set up a situation where we do everything," Seagal says. "Maybe there is an MMA kind of thing; maybe there is boxing; maybe there's different kind of fights."
Seagal, who was granted Russian citizenship in 2016, is hitting headlines in America for all the wrong reasons after Jenny McCarthy and actress Regina Simons accused him of sexual assault and harassment.
