A 14-YEAR-OLD schoolboy has been found dead at his Ardrossan home.
Cops were called to an address in the town’s Eglinton Road on Sunday evening after receiving reports of the death of a teenager, named locally as Ross Gentleman.
Heartfelt tributes have flooded in on social media following the tragic news with Facebook user writing: "Thoughts go out to his family and friends such sad news know one should have go through this!"
Another wrote: "I'll cherish every moment we spent together wee man.
"Sleep tight Ross. You'll forever be in our hearts. Love you."
Enquiries into the death are ongoing and a post-mortem will be carried out but there are not thought to be any suspicious circumstances.

A spokesperson for Police Scotland said: “At 6.05pm on Sunday, November 5, Police received a report of the death of a 14-year-old boy in Eglinton Road, Ardrossan.
“A postmortem will be carried out in due course.”
