Mauricio Pochettino’s Tottenham Hotspur and Arsene Wenger’s Arsenal have been linked with Burnley defender Ben Mee in the summer transfer window.
According to The Times, Mee is likely to be sold in the summer transfer window, with Burnley unwilling to meet his demands for a new deal worth £80,000 per week.
According to The Sun, Tottenham and Arsenal want to sign a central defender for next season and could be interested in Burnley star Mee (click here to read more).
Good news for Tottenham Hotspur and Arsenal?
Mee knows the Premier League inside out and has been an important player for Burnley over the years, and the 28-year-old defender would be a good signing for Tottenham or Arsenal.
Although the former Manchester City prospect is not exactly world class, the Englishman is someone who can do the job and can be an able back-up at major clubs like Arsenal and Tottenham.
The 28-year-old defender has played 29 times in the Premier League for Burnley this season and made 34 appearances in the league for the Clarets during the 2018-19 campaign.
