VANCOUVER, Wash. – Washington State Patrol responded to a deadly crash on Interstate 5 in Vancouver Sunday night.

Washington State Patrol says the crash occurred near milepost 2.9 at 9:19 p.m.

Troopers say 22-year-old Mason H. Salvador, of Vancouver, died in the single-vehicle crash.

They say Salvador was approaching the Main Street Exit when he lost control and veered across all the southbound lanes, hitting the center jersey barrier and a street light, causing the vehicle to roll over the barrier into the left lane of northbound I-5. The street light fell on top of the vehicle.

The crash blocked traffic in both directions.
