Plum students recognized for Forbes achievements

Forbes Road Career and Technical Center Instructor George Karnbauer presented certificates to some of the Plum High School students who qualified for regional and state competitions, including, from left, Anthony Daniels, Adam Tomlinson, Alexis McClintock and Cassandra Telles at a recent school board meeting.

Several Plum High School students who attend Forbes Career and Technical Center were recently recognized for their efforts.

Anthony Daniels took second place for cyber security and Adam Tomlinson earned second place for job interview at a regional competition.

Justine Miller qualified for a state competition for photography. Karina Singh qualified for a state competition for crime scene investigation. Adam Tomlinson qualified for a state competition for computer estimating.

Tomlinson also earned second place for job interview at a regional competition. Adam Tomlinson took second place for cyber security at a regional competition.

Alexis McClintock took second place for culinary, Chris Ryan earned sixth place for collision repair, Mackenzie Shaffer earned second place for medical terminology and Cassandra Telles won second place for medical math, all at a regional competition.

The following students earned National Technical Honor Society honors: Daniels, computer networking and security; Tomlinson, collision repair technology; Jeremy Burnett, automotive technology; Ivan Coley, landscape design; Christopher Fazzini, automotive technology; Alexa Kozub, early childhood education; Mason McKenna, multimedia design; Justine Miller, multimedia design; Julian Nodalo-Zucco, automotive technology; and Karina Singh, emergency response services.
