ran for a touchdown and threw for another and Greg Zuerelein made four field goals as the Los Angeles Rams won for the first time in three appearances in Britain, beating the Arizona Cardinals 33-0 at Twickenham Stadium in London, England on Sunday.

Arizona (3-4) will be without quarterback Carson Palmer after he reportedly suffered a broken left arm and will miss at least six week. He suffered the injury in the second quarter and did not return.

Goff completed 22 of 37 passes for 235 yards with an interception and Todd Gurley ran for 106 yards and a touchdown for the NFC West-leading Rams (5-2). Los Angeles has won five of its first seven games for the first time since 2003 -- the last time the Rams finished with a winning record.

Palmer, who finished 10 for 18 for 122 yards, was hit by Rams linebacker Alec Ogletree and intercepted with 5:48 remaining in the first half. He was replaced by longtime backup Drew Stanton, who completed 5 of 14 passes for 162 yards and an interception and was unable to close what began as a 6-0 deficit.

Preview

The Los Angeles Rams look as if they're going to be a contender in the NFC West for the remainder of the season. They'll face a divisional opponent when they take on the Arizona Cardinals in a matchup of NFC West teams on Sunday (10 a.m. PT/1 p.m. ET, FOX, DirecTV).

The Rams (4-2) bounced back from a loss to Seattle to go on the road and defeat Jacksonville 27-17 in Week 6. The Rams didn't return to Los Angeles after the game, instead flying to London, where they will face the Cardinals at Twickenham Stadium. The Rams don't seem to mind the travel, they are unbeaten in three road games this season.

The Cardinals (3-3) looked like the high-scoring Cardinals of the 2015 season after they defeated Tampa Bay 38-33 in Week 6. The reason? Adrian Peterson. The running back, acquired in a trade with New Orleans, ran for 134 yards and two touchdowns in his Arizona debut. The threat of Peterson aided the passing game, quarterback Carson Palmer threw three touchdown passes.
