The Eagles Dominate the Cougars on Opening Day

I was about ready to pass on the game today because it is normally a work day but I decided I wanted to see the new faces on the basketball team. The game started at 10:30 this morning and I headed to a game after a trip to the airport to catch the Queen. Traditionally, Eastern Michigan has the opening game during the day so that the local school children can attend.

Eastern Michigan was facing the Spring Arbor University Cougars from Jackson, MI. They compete in the National Association of Intercollegiate Athletics in the Crossroads League. So this was pretty much a tune up game for the Eagles, which is just as well since there are many new faces on the team this season.
