The Contemporary Youth Orchestra is the only youth orchestra in the country dedicated to contemporary music and a small sample of the group lifted up the Fox 8 studio with their amazing sound! The talented group is made up of over 100 musicians ages 11-18 from 64 different school districts.

Under the direction of Liza Grossman, the CYO is celebrating its’ 20th season this year and has a very special show with Graham Nash from Crosby, Stills, Nash & Young. CYO believes Nash’s message of peace, love and justice is very timely and the group will perform with the singer at Severance Hall Friday June 5th at 8pm.

CYO has performed with many big names over the years including Pat Benetar, Jefferson Starship, Ben Folds and Styx.
