Director Ron Howard announced that production for the "Star Wars" Han Solo movie had wrapped up, and that the project was finally christened with an official title.
The movie, due out May 25, 2018, will be officially known as "Solo: A Star Wars Story." For those keeping track, LucasFilms followed the trend set by "Rogue One: A Star Wars Story" in how to name non-Skywalker "Star Wars" movies.
Howard, who replaced co-directors Phil Lord and Christopher Miller in June, tweeted out a video of himself in which he revealed the title and logo after Chewbacca handed him a poster.

The first Han Solo "Star Wars" prequel is due out in May 2018. Shooting started back in February in London. Alden Ehrenreich will play a younger version of Harrison Ford's scruffy-looking nerf herder, Donald Glover (also known as artist Childish Gambino) will play a younger version of Billy Dee Williams' Lando Calrissian. Woody Harrelson, Emilia Clarke of "Game of Thrones" fame, Phoebe Waller-Bridge, Joonas Suotamo will also star in the movie.
Howard is the director of the "Star Wars" spinoff after its previous directors, Phil Lord and Christopher Miller, left the production in the middle of filming.
The next episode in the latest trilogy, "Episode VIII: The Last Jedi," will hit theaters on Dec. 15.
