Troy woman killed in Thursday crash

A 21-year-old Troy woman died Thursday night in a single-vehicle crash north of Troy. 

Heather Denise Brantley was pronounced dead at the scene shortly after the crash occurred at about 8:23 p.m. Thursday. 

An Alabama Law Enforcement Agency release stated Brantley's Chevrolet Cobalt went off the roadway on U.S. 231 at the 90 mile marker. Brantley, was was not wearing a seat belt, was ejected. 

Alabama State Troopers continue to investigate the crash.
