Tattoo Arts Convention returns to Louisville this weekend

Louisville, Ky. (WHAS11) - The Louisville Tattoo Arts Convention, featuring hundreds of the finest professional tattooers, tattoo memorabilia and performers, returns this weekend.

The convention will also include a number of celebrity appearances, including Anwon Boneface Johnson from Ink Master Season 8 and 9, Alli Baker from Best Ink, and the Black Ink Crew.

Seminars for professionals in the tattoo industry will include topics on social media and marketing, technical tattoo application techniques, and Q & A’s with longtime tattooers and legends in the business.

The convention will be in Hall A of the Kentucky Exposition Center (937 Phillips Lane, 40209).

Doors open on Friday at 2 p.m. and close at midnight, Saturday from 11 a.m. until midnight, and Sunday from 11 a.m. until 8 p.m.

Tickerts are sold only at the show. They are $20 per day or $40 for a 3-day pass. Children under 12 are free.
