McAuley Seniors Ink Letters of Intent On National Signing Day

Six McAuley seniors sign letters of intent to continue their athletic careers on the college level.

CHICAGO, IL — Six Mother McAuley seniors signed letters of intent to play collegiate sports Wednesday as part of a National Signing Day ceremony. These Mighty Macs hail from Beverly, Mount Greenwood, Oak Lawn, Evergreen Park, Country Club Hills and Chicago’s Clearing West neighborhood.

Devyn Petrowski of Beverly, will be attending Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University where she’ll continue playing volleyball, along with teammate Amia Owolabi, from Country Club Hills.

Lexi Warfield, of Clearing West, will continue her volleyball career at Loras College.

Morgan Riordan, of Mount Greenwood, will play water polo at Salem University in West Virginia.

Jenna Badall, of Oak Lawn, plans to attend Lewis University to play basketball.

Abbey Murphy, of Evergreen Park, will be joining the ice hockey team at the University of Minnesota.
