Congratulations to Love Island’s Jessica Shears and Dom Lever, who have announced that they’re engaged!
The couple, who only met three months ago, broke the exciting news to OK! magazine.
Jess, 23, said: "It happened the night before the TV Choice Awards. We were staying in a lovely apartment in London.
"Dom filled it with flowers and had got us a bottle of champagne ... I was grinning like a Cheshire Cat when Dom got down on one knee - he said afterwards that he had never seen me smile like that!"
Dom was initially planning to propose on a romantic holiday, but due to their busy schedules, he knew he’d struggle to get anything booked in the near future, and he was so desperate to do it, he just couldn’t wait.
The 26 year old explained: "If I'd waited I don't know when it would have had time to do it because we're so busy at the moment. It felt like the right time."
The plan is for the pair to get married next year.
Jess said: "We're thinking next summer. I've been thinking about my wedding day since I was a little girl so I've got loads of ideas.
"We'd like to do it abroad, either in the south of France or somewhere in Greece like Santorini. We don't want a big wedding, I only want our close friends and family there because, to me, that is what your wedding day is about."
And they’re ready to settle down and have kids too.
Jess added: "We're desperate for kids. I don't think we'll wait too long after we get married to start trying."
