Coachspeak: "We played a great football team. We played the best 2A football player there is in Jermaine Brown. We made mistakes early, but we come from this mentality that we won't give up, we believe in each other, there's four quarters in the football game, and we're not going to give up. This is a total team effort. That's what all these guys will tell you. We just kept pushing, kept grinding." - Goshen coach Bart Snyder

"You know they come in here 11-1 and that’s not by accident. They’re well coached, they played well, they took advantage of our coverage and we knew that we were suspect in that area so my hat’s off to them. I’ve got nothing but respect for our kids. I thought we played as hard as we could. They had a few more weapons than we did, and I wish them all the luck in the world." - St. Luke’s coach Ronn Lee.

Next week: Goshen returns home to face seventh-ranked Leroy in the state semifinals.
