KOCHI: The Asian School of Architecture and Design Innovations (ASADI) will host the first-ever national teachers’ programme on green building conducted by the Council of Architecture Training and Research Centre (COA). Chandrika Devi, Chairperson of Tripunithura Municipality released the poster of the training programme at a function held in ASADI. The five-day training programme will be held from September 4 to 8.
The COA, the apex organisation of the Government of India controlling the education and profession of architecture in the country, has been organising the training programme for teachers of architecture in the county every year. This year the training programme will be organised on green building considering the issues of climate change, the role of buildings in the increase in carbon footprint.
