Ouch! Will & Grace star Eric McCormack zooms around on a mobility scooter with his leg in a cast

Eric McCormack has been holed up at home, but not just because of the coronavirus threat.

The 56-year-old actor appeared to have suffered a nasty leg injury and was making use of a mobility scooter while taking his dog for a walk on Monday morning.

McCormack’s right leg was in a cast as he wheeled around his Los Angeles neighborhood.

The Will & Grace star powered down the sidewalk in a dark green graphic tee that read Keep California Clean.

He rounded out his look with a pair of light gray basketball shorts and one slip on shoe.

McCormack currently stars as his iconic TV character Will Truman in the hit NBC comedy Will & Grace.

He acts alongside series regulars Sean Hayes, Megan Mullalley, and his co-lead Debra Messing as Grace.

The beloved show, which premiered in 1998, was rebooted in September of 2017 and is currently in its 11th and final season.

Season 11 premiered in October of last year and will consist of 18 episodes, including the series’ big finale.

McCormack’s injury comes as millions of Americans are currently quarantined in their homes in an effort to prevent the spread of COVID-19.

California Governor Gavin Newsom effectively banned residents from socializing outside their homes during a press conference last week.

People are to only leave their homes in order to ‘get food, care for a relative or friend, obtain health care or go to an “essential job,”’ according to The Wall Street Journal.

Those who do wander outside must maintain a ‘six foot’ distance from one another.

‘Dine-in restaurants, bars and nightclubs, entertainment venues, gyms and fitness studios’ across the cities will remain closed for the foreseeable future.

Last Wednesday, McCormack's costar Messing took to Twitter to blast President Donald Trump’s handling of the national coronavirus crisis.

Messing referred to Trump as the ‘LIAR-IN-CHIEF,’ in response to a video that featured quotes from the president dismissing the threat of COVID-19.

She continued: '#MAGA [Trump supporters] have been unmoved by the 16500 lies 45 has made since elected. Now that innumerable people (including MAGA) will die, because of his lies and inaction, I wonder if MAGA will recognize that 45 must be voted out?'

As a resident of New York, currently the state with the most cases of the virus, Messing was clearly angered by the lack of action.

On Sunday, New York Governor Andrew Cuomo ordered that ‘all businesses that aren’t deemed essential must shut down their in-office personnel functions.’
