Dusty Baker, the Cincinnati Reds' manager from 2008 to 2013 who last managed the Washington Nationals in 2016 and 2017, will interview for the Philadelphia Phillies' managerial vacancy on Wednesday, according to a report via Twitter from Jon Heyman of MLB Network.

Washington Nationals manager Dusty Baker (12) heads back to the dugout after pulling his starting pitcher in the bottom of the ninth inning during the game between the Cincinnati Reds and the Washington Nationals at Great American Ball Park on July 14, 2017.

Baker serves as a special adviser to the CEO of the San Francisco Giants, which granted permission for Baker to interview with the Phillies, per multiple reports.

Multiple media outlets also have reported that Baker is a candidate for the New York Mets' managerial vacancy. Mike Bell, a former Moeller High School standout and the brother of Reds manager David Bell, reportedly interviewed with the Mets on Monday.

Baker's record as the Nats' manager was 192-132, but Washington fired Baker after a team he managed lost a postseason close-out game for the 10th consecutive time - a streak including the Reds' NLDS collapse against the Giants in 2012 - an MLB record.

Baker last won a postseason series in 2003 with the Chicago Cubs.

Baker has won 1,863 regular-season games in 22 seasons as a manager. His win total ranks 15th, and Bruce Bochy and Gene Mauch are the only non-Hall of Famers with more wins than Baker.
