The University of Wyoming volleyball team used a balanced attack to pull out a 3-2 (25-14, 23-25, 25-15, 19-25, 15-9) victory over New Mexico on Saturday in Albuquerque, New Mexico.
Jackie McBride led the Cowgirls (15-7, 7-3 Mountain West) with 10 kills and a career-high 14 blocks. Reed Copeland, Halie McArdle and Emily Lewis added nine kills apiece and Tara Traphagan had eight. Traphagan (eight) and Lewis (six) also combined for 14 blocks as Wyoming finished the match with 32 blocks.
Cori Aafedt (24) and Marissa Hines (19) combined for 43 assists and Madi Fields had a match-high 23 digs.
The Cowgirls return to action Thursday when they host Fresno State.
