Crash At State Line Slows I-80/I-94 Commute
Traffic heading into Chicago from Northwest Indiana was slow during the 6 a.m. hour as a crash closed multiple lanes.
CHICAGO, IL - Tuesday morning rush hour traffic from Northwest Indiana was a little slow after a crash that occurred on Interstate 80/Interstate 94 near the State Line. The crash was reported by multiple traffic reporters on Twitter a little after 6:30 a.m.
Two westbound right lanes were blocked for at least a half hour. Things cleared up quickly, however, and all lanes were cleared around 7 a.m.
It was not immediately known whether there were any injuries associated with the crash, not how many vehicles were involved.
