Despite an ankle injury that will keep him out of action until at least next week, today is a big day for Stephen Curry. As the Golden State Warriors sharpshooter celebrates his 30th birthday, Under Armour has joined in on the occasion with the debut of the Curry 5 sneaker.

To mark Curry's 30th—which coincides with Pi Day—Under Armour has dropped an extremely limited version of the Curry 5. The debut "Pi Day" colorway features a black knit upper with references to the holiday throughout including a knitted Pi symbol and "3.14" text on the shoe's icy outsole and shoelace aglets.

More than just a mathematician's favorite holiday, the Pi Day theme extends to the low-top Curry 5 model itself. According to Under Armour, the "squaring the circle" concept of Pi inspired the shoe's circular construction. Further tech details include lockdown zones at the lateral side and heel that allow Curry to make explosive movements on the court.

Just 314 pairs of the "Pi Day" colorway are available now from sc30-v5.com for a retail price of $130.
