Clint Eastwood Unforgiven by Dina Eastwood

Clint Eastwood and his wife Dina Eastwood, who have been married for 17 years, are separated according to her. Apparently the two had a major row about Dina’s reality television program Mrs Eastwood and Company. So it appears that Clint is “Unforgiven” by Dina and the two are living apart.

It seems that things have not been very good in the Dirty Harry household for sometime now. The last time the two were photographed as a couple was a red carpet event way back in 2011. Although a friend of the couple has said that they are still “close.”

Unfortunately, they don’t seem to be that close as the couple were anything but warm towards each other at Clint’s daughter Alison’s wedding in July this year. And if they were really still that close, wouldn’t Clint have said something, or at the very least, told his manager of the split?

According to Eastwood’s manager, it is the first he has heard of the couple being separated. While the manager told E! News that he “knew nothing,” a la Hogan’s Heroes, he did say that the actor and director was on location shooting a film sans publicist.

But if the rumours are true that Clint Eastwood kicked up a fuss about Dina Eastwood’s reality television show, the Unforgiven star may be incommunicado for a reason. He definitely kept quiet about the two of them living separately since last year.

Another source has said that the split is “amicable” and speaking to Us Weekly they said the two have been apart since June 2012. TMZ reported that in April this year, Dina checked herself into an Arizona rehab clinic to be treated for depression and anxiety.

The couple met in 1993 when Dina, then a news anchor for the NBC affIliate KSBW, interviewed Clint for the Monterey-Salinas station. The couple got married in March 1996 and they had their daughter Morgan in December that same year.

Dina’s marriage to the Gran Torino star was her first and Clint’s second. His first marriage to Maggie Johnson ended when he allegedly refused to stop his affair with actress Sondra Locke. Clint has a total of seven children with six different women.

Sondra Locke actually sued Eastwood for palimony after he had changed all the locks of the house they shared and threw all her clothes out.

Dina Eastwood got the greenlight for her own reality television show and it aired in 2012. The season consisted of 10 episodes and at this time, the family have turned down the opportunity to do a second season. The show followed the day-to-day existence of Dina and her daughter’s Francesca and Morgan. It also dealt with Dina’s a cappella group that she manages called Overtone. The group live with the Eastwoods in the Carmel-by-the-sea mansion.

It may have been the combination of cameras and unwanted guests in their home that prompted the split, or at least the reported arguments between the couple about the series.

Dina took to Twitter on Wednesday to tweet: “Time and truth go hand in hand. I try to spend time being positive while the truth percolates. What do YOU do to be patient when you’re antsy?”

Apparently “being positive” means that you split from your husband of 17 years while he remains un-forgiven for his “attitude” about your television show. Clint Eastwood has not made any statements since, as his manager pointed out, he is out on location at the moment. But he may just “make someone’s day” and give his side of the story.

  1. i disagree clint eastwood is not the type for these stupid reality shows, and i dont blame him im with him

  2. No matter how fashionable tweeter is, many things are best private. I have read Dina’s
tweets – it is surely unpolished for a Mrs Eastwood. She should have been the prime guardian of Mr Eastwoods privacy! After all, he is the one with the wow factor, with all the flying colors in the movie industry. Now he deserves respect!

  3. That’s “Clint Eastwood”, who is bigger than life. His wife Dina is the one woefully inconsiderate. Airing the dirty laundry of the family (even the not so dirty), isn’t quite appealing especially to Mr Eastwood or anyone of his caliber. The wife is the one who forgot who her hubby is and that keeping privacy is above and beyond all things. She should be proud that Mr Eastwood married her! It is unlikely that she can find a man of his caliber in her lifetime to marry her. Big mistake for Dina!

  4. I remember Clint Eastwood saying in an interview a few years back that he took a dim view of people who were stars for being famous and for no other reason, or something to that effect, so of course he’s not gonna want a reality show at his house.
