Fox News mysteriously went silent for about seven seconds Friday afternoon during an argument between The Five’s Dana Perino and Bob Beckel about how much President Barack Obama deserves blame for the rise of ISIS in Iraq.
The expressions on the faces of the other hosts seated around the table revealed that Perino had said something somewhat scandalous in Beckel’s direction. “You said the b-word,” Greg Gutfeld said, laughing, at the show cut to commercial.
Perino explained, at least to some degree, what she said on Twitter after the show:
For those wondering what I said when I got bleeped. It was the b word – used as a verb. I should have said “complain”. TGIF.

Presumably, she thought people like Beckel should stop “bitching” about the Iraqi Army’s failures and instead focus on what the United States can do to improve the situation there.
