'Chasing Life' Star Italia Ricci on Walking Down the Aisle and Her 'Titanic' Obsession

Getting married on TV has to be strange… especially when you're engaged and planning a wedding in real life. Such was the odd reality Italia Ricci faced when she walked down the aisle and found her Chasing Life co-star Scott Michael Foster at the end, rather than her real-life fiancé, The Flash's Robbie Amell.

"It was so weird. It felt real," Italia told Yahoo. "They're playing the real music. … There's tons of people. And it's beautiful, the flowers, and everything. … To turn the corner and not see Robbie there. I'm just like, 'Oh my god. I feel like I'm going to get like shot with a lightning bolt or something, like I'm doing something so wrong.'"

She did take away one important thing from the experience that she plans to remember come her real wedding day: "Wear comfortable heels."

Given how sweetly Robbie has supported her biggest obsession — the Titanic — we imagine her shoes will be the last thing on Italia's mind when she walks down the aisle for real.

"Ever since I was a little girl, I've been so uncomfortably obsessed with the Titanic. I have a room in my house dedicated to memorabilia. It's crazy," the 28-year-old confessed. "I saw the movie so many times in theaters because it showed me more of the Titanic than I was ever able to see. … I got to go to New York where it was supposed to dock, and then I got to see the hotel where the passengers that survived stayed at when they came. That [Robbie] surprised me with."

And that wasn't the end of Robbie's titanic surprises.

"In Vegas, for the first time, they had rebuilt the whole grand staircase. I wasn't prepared for it. He walked in ahead of me — we were with my family — and he was like, 'Honey, you're just going to want to take a breath before you turn this corner.' … I turn the corner and just tears. I got so emotional."

In addition to eventually riding the replica currently under construction, the actress has one more wish: " If I could go down and see it, I would. But I don't know James Cameron yet."

Chasing Life airs Mondays at 9 p.m. ET/PT on ABC Family.
