YOUNG ENTREPRENEURS ACADEMY
Conner Christian, a 13 year old Young Entrepreneurs Academy, or (YEA!), student from Angleton Junior High, wowed the judges at the annual Saunders Scholars Competition in Rochester, New York. His invention, Rubber Boot Buddy, is a way to store work boots in the back of a truck. That invention landed him a $30,000 scholarship to the Rochester Institute of Technology, a trip to attend America’s Small Business Summit in Washington, DC and a ‘fast-pass’ application to the ABC TV hit show Shark Tank.
