There really is nothing Piers Morgan can’t do (!?) – after he successfully managed to get his son Spencer and jungle queen Georgia Toffolo together.

The two finally went on a date, and it seems it was a good night, as the lad seemed pretty pleased with himself, tweeting: ‘First date went well guys, thanks for asking.’

So many questions – did they split the bill? Was there a first date kiss? Did he do better than the ‘leftie’ she got stuck with on Celebs Go Dating? Maybe we’ll hear all the goss on an upcoming ep of Made In Chelsea when she dissects it with Mark Francis and co.

Piers gave his son a retweet so he was obviously pleased with this romantic outcome. He’d previously tried to set the couple up, who have been friends for years.

Speaking of Toff leaving the I’m A Celeb jungle, Piers said on GMB: ‘Toff and my oldest son, who is a good mate of hers… Spencer is going to be back, he’s going to be ready [for when she gets back from Australia].

‘He’s handsome, he’s intelligent, he’s got a good job, he’s well bred, good genes. Toff’s mother was up for this – we need to ask Toff. Now she’s coming into a lot of money, I have a lot of interest in getting them together.’

Toff then denied anything could happen, telling him: ‘I think the romantic ship might have sailed for us. I don’t think Spencer would see me in that way, I can assure you.’

Piers later said that because of Toff’s win on the ITV show, that ship might just return to port.

‘Well I’ve had a chance to discuss this with him and I can say if it’s true she’s getting £5m out of this he would definitely see her in that way.’

A shocked Susanna said: ‘I thought this was all about love?’

Although it seemed Piers wasn’t too worried about how Toff joined his family.

He continued: ‘Also if she’s watching, I do have two other sons. If there’s a problem with the eldest I’d be prepared to move down the ladder.’
