Mayookh to headline the Asia Festival at Barcelona

Mayookh Bhaumik and his contemporary Indian electronica project Black Coffee has been invited to headline the Asia Festival for the La Merce Festival Barcelona, 2014, on September 19.
The festival kickstarts their Spanish tour followed by concerts at Toledo and Madrid. Black Coffee's Toledo performance will be the first time a musical group from India will feature at the illustrious Circulo de Arte (Circle of Art).A performance at Teatro Sanpol in Madrid on September 27 will end their Catalonian tour.
Tabla virtuoso and electronic music producer-cum-composer Mayookh will be accompanied on stage by Indian classical and Jazz singer IshitaChakravarty and Sarangi virtuoso AllaRakhaKalavant. The Barcelona Kathak Project, headed by the National Dance Awardee, Fasih-ur-Rehman, from Pakistan, will dance to three tracks composed and produced by Mayookh.
