COVID-19 in Collier County: State reports 131 new cases, no new deaths Saturday, Nov. 21

The Florida Department of Health on Saturday reported 131 new cases of COVID-19 in Collier County and no additional deaths.     

Collier's total number of deaths attributed to COVID-19 is 273. The new COVID-19 cases increased the county's cumulative number of cases to 16,749.

According to the state Department of Health, 1,089 people in Collier County have been hospitalized for COVID-19 since the state began collecting data, but that number does not reflect people currently in the hospital.   

The health department is not reporting how many people have recovered from COVID-19.
