Victoria and David Beckham Are on the Dreamiest Family Vacation in Puglia

The Beckham family is on vacation in Italy, and they are sending us their best wishes: “Happy summer!” Victoria wrote on Instagram. “X kisses from Puglia.”

While the perennially popular Amalfi Coast and Capri often get hoards of high-profile visitors (this year so far: Heidi Klum, Kris Jenner, and Selena Gomez) Puglia is a low-key, lesser-known destination, often favored by locals and experienced travelers.

The region, which is on the heel of Italy’s boot, borders the Adriatic Sea and is dotted with white-washed towns. The ancient settlement of Alberobello is particularly famous for its unusual architecture: stone huts with conical roofs, called trulli. This summer, the five-star Rocco Forte property Masseria Torre Maizza swung open its doors in Savelletri di Fasano, bringing an elevated air to the resort area.

Puglia is perhaps most famous for its olive oil: it produces almost 40 percent of the bottles in Italy, and there are an estimated 60,000 olive trees in the region. And while Naples has pizza, Puglia has burrata.

So what are the Beckhams up to on their idyllic Italian sojourn? On David’s story, he shared snaps of their sons—Brooklyn, Romeo, and Cruz—piled into the back of what looks to be a navy blue Fiat. “Boys trip,” the soccer player wrote.

He also shared an adorable snap on his story of he and his wife twinning in white shirts and khaki bottoms. “I had it on first just to be clear,” he joked.

And the food! David couldn’t help but post about the food on his stories—antipasto platters with prosciutto, bruschetta, pizza, and lots of burrata. “I love Italy,” he wrote.

Over on Victoria’s account, she posted pictures of her husband posing with their eldest son Brooklyn. She punctuated her caption it with the Italian flag emoji.

Later, she shared a picture of her and David posing in quite the fashionable vacation style.
