After the ceremony, the couple donated the luxurious collection of flowers to the Margaret Tietz Nursing and Rehabilitation Center in Queens.
The cake stood a whopping six feet tall and was 'ombre with marbling, ribbon work, Swiss dots, deckled edges and gold detailing that conceal alternating layers of Funfetti cake with vanilla buttercream and lemon cake with cream cheese frosting.'
While the grand dessert made a statement, it was decorated delicately as well as simple in style.
'Amanda knew right away she didn't want any sugar flowers on the cake,' said Betsy Thorleifson, owner of the bakery, Nine Cakes.
