Salisbury Symphony Orchestra prepares for upcoming season

The Salisbury-Rowan Symphony Society has announced its season series dates for 2014-2015.
The season’s first two concerts will feature standard classical music and are scheduled for Saturday, Oct. 4 and Saturday, Nov. 22.
The season continues in February when the Salisbury Symphony Orchestra presents its family concert on Sunday, Feb. 1, 2015.
The group will host the North Carolina Symphony on Friday, March 20, and then finish the season with a rousing pops concert Saturday, May 9, 2015.
Season ticket prices will remain the same. Cost is $75 for adults, $70 for seniors, $30 for students and $180 for families. Tickets may be purchased now by calling 704-637-4314.
In addition to the season, the Salisbury Symphony Orchestra will partner with the Piedmont Dance Theatre once again for the holiday classic, “The Nutcracker” on Saturday and Sunday, Dec. 20 and 21; and, as a special treat, is collaborating with The Piedmont Players in a special presentation of “Les Miserables” in October of 2014.
