The Zurich Film Festival has announced that this year’s Golden Icon Award will be presented to actress Diane Keaton. Her latest film, the romantic comedy, “And So It Goes,” will screen at the festival as part of the Gala Premieres section.

“We’re honored to present the Festival’s Golden Icon Award to Diane Keaton as she continues to build on her amazing career,” said festival directors Nadja Schildknecht and Karl Spoerri. “Her longevity is a testament to her ability to consistently reinvent and challenge herself, explore new creative avenues, and her overall prowess as one of the greatest actresses of our generation.”

Celebrating its 10th anniversary this year, the Zurich Film Festival will take place September 25 – October 5. Keaton is set receive her award on October 1 and will also be on-hand to present the screening of “And So It Goes.”
