Man killed in motorcycle accident in Scioto County, Ohio

MINFORD, OHIO (WCHS/WVAH) — The Ohio State Highway Patrol said a man has died following a motorcycle accident in Scioto County.

Terry J. Cole, 57, of Lucasville died Monday, according to a news release from Ohio State Police.

Troopers said Cole was traveling on Furnace Creek road near Minford about 7 p.m. Monday. Troopers said he failed to negotiate a curve and hit a tree.

Cole was taken to Southern Ohio Medical Center, where he was later pronounced dead.

The crash is under investigation.
