Stereo Honey sound like: Falsetto crooning isn’t a fashion statement, it’s a lifestyle.

Similar artists: Wild Beasts, Breton, Flyte, Thom Yorke

Their story: Stereo Honey are a four-piece indie band from London, UK – Pete, Ben, Nicky and Jake – who make sultry, free-flowing guitar music with sprinkles of angelic vocals on top.

Seemingly springing to life out of nowhere this year with just two singles to their name, the band were swiftly snapped up by the same management as Wild Beasts and Placebo.

The band has already made strides into the live arena already, including the very first Community Festival in Finsbury Park.

With both online and offline popularity growing steady, the future is looking very bright indeed for this promising new talent.

What’s so great about them? Musically, Stereo Honey have little to no problem in melding the senses of the uplifting and melancholy in equal measure.

They seem unafraid of touching upon typically taboo topics in popular music, with recent single The Heart lyrically delving into issues such as relationship abuse.

The band have already become cited as ones to keep a rather close eye on as the UK summer festival season draws to a close, a testament to their Dot To Dot and Community Festival performances.

With a mature sound and subject matter that goes far beyond their young years, expect to see the name cropping up even higher on 2018 festival and touring bills.

What will they be doing in 2017? Currently it looks like the band are recording further tracks for what will form their debut EP.

Before, during and after all that, they have a decent run of live dates to see out the summer, which you can check out below.
