Owasso QB Will Kuehne commits to North Texas

North Texas is tied to Will Kuehne’s family, so it’s natural he’s going to play football there.

Kuehne, Owasso’s star senior quarterback, announced Tuesday his committed to North Texas on his Twitter page.

Kuehne’s grandfather is a North Texas graduate who has donated significant money to the schoolin Denton, Texas, that is coached by former Muskogee and Oklahoma running back Seth Littrell.

Kuehne moved to Owasso last year and led the Rams to the Class 6A-I state championship. The son of former Oklahoma State golfer Trip Kuehne, Will was on The Oklahoman’s All-State team after he completed 67 percent of his passes for 2,788 yards and 24 touchdowns.

The 6-foot-1, 178-pound passer chose North Texas over offers Arkansas State, Columbia, Dartmouth and Maryland.
