Colonial Heights teen found after leaving church Easter morning, police said
COLONIAL HEIGHTS — Police say a teenage girl who walked away from a church Sunday morning has been found safe.
About two hours after police issued a missing-person warning for Audrey Leigh Tross, 16, they posted a message saying “She has been located!”
Police said the girl reportedly walked away from the church, and was last seen around 9:30 a.m. at the intersection of Fairlie Avenue and Old Town Drive.
Police released a photograph of Tross in the outfit she was last seen wearing.
“Thank you to everyone who shared this post & called in with information regarding this incident,” police posted in a message online.
