Andover, North Andover Football Game Rescheduled For Cold
The forecast is calling for record low temperatures and extreme wind chill on Thursday morning.
ANDOVER, MA -- Andover and North Andover will play their Thanksgiving Day game the day before Thanksgiving, thanks to a forecast calling for record-low temperatures and dangerous windchill. The game will kcikoff at 5 pm Wednesday night at Andover High School.
"Due to the potential for record-setting conditions, superintendents, principals and coaches from both communities have considered the well-being of those that participate in the Thanksgiving Day football game between Andover and North Andover," Andover Public Schools Communications Director Nicole L. Kieser said. "Our priority is the safety of those that participate in this annual tradition."
