She is known as the Pioneer Woman.

And it looks like Ree Drummond is taking the narrower trail.

The Oklahoma-native revealed that she went down a pants size in just a month as she captioned the image: 'We interrupt our regularly scheduled cowgirl floral attire to bring you this outside-the-elevator, slightly boho selfie.

'These jeans are a size smaller than I’ve worn for (quite) awhile and even though they were skin tight (as you can probably see) and a long top was required, they buttoned.'

She then shared the secret to her rapid weight loss and it has to do with The Handmaid's Tale.

Drummond continued: 'I attribute this to spending the last month only allowing myself to watch a show I’ve been wanting to watch (one that I’m not going to trivialize by inserting it into this fashion and fitness post) if I did so on my rowing machine.

'It just took two full seasons for the buttoning to be successful. In other news, Elisabeth Moss is everything.'

The Pioneer Woman looked absolutely fantastic in a knit multicolored shawl hanging over her shoulders over a flowy top, skinny black jeans and brown suede booties.

It has been a challenging year for Ree as deadly tornadoes hit close to her ranch in Pawhuska, Oklahoma back in May.

Luckily the Food Network star tweeted at the time assuring her fans that her home and family were unscathed - but that many of her neighbors weren't so lucky.

'We are fine on the ranch and in Pawhuska, but so many of our Oklahoma neighbors are not. Please keep our beautiful state in your hearts and prayers.' she wrote.

Ree films her Pioneer Woman show at her ranch in the small town of Pawhuska.

Amidst severe weather in the region an E-F3 tornado touched down near the El Reno suburb on Saturday night leveling a motel and mobile homes, killing two and injuring at least 29.

The tornado destroyed buildings across a two-mile path it ripped through the area.

The Drummond family are one of the largest landowners in the U.S., owning 433,000 acres of property.

Back in 2016, The Land Report revealed that the family owned that much land as part of their annual list of America's 100 largest landowners.

Drummond, her husband Ladd and their four teenage children make their home just two hours down the road from Oklahoma City in Pawhuska, which is where her husband Ladd's family put down roots four generations ago.

Ladd is now a key player at Drummond Land & Cattle Co, the notoriously private family-held company that Frederick Drummond started after arriving in this country from Scotland in the late 19th century.

Last year Ree added to her empire opening a boutique hotel in Pawhuska just down the block from her wildly successful restaurant and store, the Mercantile.

She and Ladd created 250 jobs with the two enterprises and also later added a steakhouse and saloon in the downtown area last year.
