Many Events Planned for DuPage Children's Museum Reopening

The museum will reopen at 9 a.m. Sept. 19.

The DuPage Children’s Museum in Naperville is set to open its doors again eight months after it was flooded. A “re-imagined” museum will open at 9 a.m. Sept. 19, according to a release from the museum.

DCM turned its three levels of flood damage into an unprecedented opportunity to re-imagine and redevelop many of its most popular custom-designed exhibits.

The line-up of events planned for the reopening celebration week include Naming and Ribbon-Cutting of the Mayor A. George Pradel Volunteer Center (by invitation) on Wednesday, Sept. 16, VIP First Look Open House (by invitation) on Thursday, Sept. 17, Members Sneak Peek & Ribbon-Cutting (by invitation) on Friday, Sept. 18, and Reopening to the Public on Saturday, Sept. 19.
