COTTLEVILLE, MO – A two-vehicle crash sent 5 people to area hospitals in St. Charles County. Coleville fire crews responded Monday to a head-on collision at Highway 94, near Soldier Drive around 1 pm.
Both vehicles suffered heavy damage. The driver of the vehicle in the eastbound lane who crossed into the westbound lane, identified as 21-year-old Anthony Skalas, of St. Louis, was pronounced dead just before 3pm. He was wearing a seatbelt.
One other adult and 3 children were transported to hospitals.
